Scary Moment In Rural California

I was laughing so hard -- admittedly to a part that on its face really isn't super-hilarious -- that I seriously could not keep my eyes open to see the road...NOT a good thing when you're going 80 mph down the interstate. I had to reach over and turn off the stereo for a good 5 minutes while I calmed down, so as to avoid crashing into another car.

It's actually very scary, in a 1984 kind of way, how much of Al Franken's Why Not Me? (a satirical look at his supposed 2000 campaign for and election as President, and the reason for my laughing fit) sounds like stuff the actual Republicans did this last year. The part that was making me laugh so hard, was Al Franken's brother (Otto) following around Al Gore with a giant foam hat that says "Eat Me", in response to a comment Gore made about eating his hat if anyone could prove that any of his campaign funds came from ATM fees (Franken's BIG campaign issue).

Sound to anyone like the goons dressed up as giant foam flip-flops the media would show at (it seemed) every Kerry event?
