Virtual Manipulatives are online applets (usually java or flash) that provide students with the opportunity to interact with content. In this presentation virtual manipulatives will be defined, examples will be given, and classroom uses will be discussed. Additionally, participants will be given the opportunity to play with and experience learning with virtual manipulatives. SWiSHmax - Alternative Flash Editing

SWiSHmax is an alternative flash editing tool. Advantages of creating Flash animations/applications in SWiSHmax include a low learning curve, easy animating, and an easy scripting language.
