Assistant Research Scientist at Florida Center for Advanced Aero-Propulsion, July 2009-present. Performing experimentsrelating to flow control and noise suppression for advanced propulsion systems.

Test Engineer at Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery, Sep 2008-June 2009. Performing flow and combustion tests related to the development of gas turbines.

Postdoctoral Associate at the University of Florida, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, May 2004-July 2008. Applied FT-IR to determine concentrations of intermediates and products as fluorinated polymers are decomposed and combusted under different conditions using Matlab for spectral analysis. Developed setup for analysis of low-NOx catalytic combustion using mass spectrometry and laser-induced fluorescence (LIF). Used planar acetone fluorescence (PLIF) to study fuel mixing in a supersonic combustor. Studied cavitation in a cryogenic simulant liquid using laser-induced fluorescnce. Served on three PhD supervisory committees.

Lecturer at the University of Florida, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering department, Jan 2006-May 2006. Teaching a class of ~150 undergraduates Thermodynamics.

Research and Teaching Assistant at the University of Florida, Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering Department, Aug 2000-Apr 2004. The research involved experiments on supersonic flow related to pulse detonation engines. Measurement tools included Rayleigh scattering, Schlieren optics and pressure transducers. Responsible for test design, execution and evaluation. TA duties included tutoring and grading assignments for an undergraduate course.

Research engineer at the Aeronautical Research Institute of Sweden, Feb 1999-Aug 2000. The work involved several different wind-tunnel tests related to wind-power turbines, including PIV measurements, cup anemometers, smoke visualizations and static pressure measurements.

Research and Teaching Assistant at the Department of Mechanics, Royal Institute of Technology, 1997-98. During this year I supervised undergraduate students during their laborations and took part in wind-tunnel research and report-writing. These experiments and the experiments on which my Master's thesis was based, gave me the opportunity to get acquainted to a large number of experimental techniques, including PIV, hot-wire anemometry and Preston tubes.
