GINGER LINDBERG - Cybrarian, Search Engine Specialist, Web Content Manager, Educator My profession has always been in the world of information retrieval and dissemination.I hold both a Master of Library Science and Bachelor of Arts in Health and Human Services with an Early Childhood Studies specialization from the University at Buffalo. Upon graduation I spent eight years in public libraries as a reference librarian concentrating in children's services before switching gears to the corporate sector. Since 2001 I have been working at AOL on their various search products and am currently a senior editor for AOL@SCHOOL - a Web directory and search engine which houses a database of 40,000+ educator-reviewed classroom resources for K-12 students and teachers. It is my primary responsibility to manage this database by reviewing Web sites for educational value and adding those of quality which will enhance the K-12 learning experience (and training educator editors to do the same). This year I am pursuing an Education Technology Certificate from the University of Florida's School of Teaching and Learning. This project was started as part of the required assignments for one of my courses.
