Gainesville, FL – Luxury dorms for UF students have been ranked among the best in the nation in a new list from DesignCurial. Windsor Hall, and Ivy House, the best University of Florida dorms, owe their awards to their interior style, superior location, architectural design, and sophisticated amenities.

"I would not say we were necessarily surprised about the ranking," said John Fleming, managing partner of Trimark Properties. Windsor Hall and Ivy House boast 5 and 4.9 star ratings, respectively, from previous residents. "Our location near Sorority Row is second to none, so all that's left if providing students with amenities, style, and service that they don't get in on-campus dorms."

DesignCurial stated that Ivy House and Windsor Hall are both "miles ahead of UF's traditional housing" with their key amenities including elevators, jetted Jacuzzis, private bathrooms, and a sun deck and swimming pool. Rooms can also be up to twice the size of their traditional housing counterparts.

The private dorm exteriors were highly esteemed by the design website. Ivy House's "opulent exterior with large white columns, forest green shutters, brick and beautiful landscaping" set it far ahead of traditional UF dorms. Windsor Hall, situated against a wetland and park, provided residents with unprecedented views to accompany its modern, luxury design.

Perhaps most vital, however, was the fact that these private dorms actually cost less than traditional UF dorms, all the while offering more socialization, privacy, and amenities. It's easy to see why these University of Florida freshman dorms are among the best in the nation.

Also rated in the list naming Windsor Hall and Ivy House the in best UF dorms were residence halls at FSU (Stadium Centre) and UNF (Osprey Fountains), which also offered student a luxurious alternative to traditional dorms.
