Windsor Hall, rated the best UF freshman dorm, and Ivy House, an all-female residence hall, owe their awards to their interior style, superior location, architectural design, and sophisticated amenities.
Starter Space will be the newest member entering the new Gainesville commercial real estate location of Innovation Square area between University of Florida campus and downtown. The company, an organization that provides collaborative work space for Gainesville's innovators, artists, and early-stage entrepreneurs, will neighbor Parisleaf and Fracture in a newly renovated commercial building just steps from the new Nimbus office building and UF's Innovation Hub.
Tera Insights, previously located in the Sun Center in downtown Gainesville, will relocate with an aim to attract more clients, create more jobs, expand its office space, and be closer to the University of Florida. The number of tech companies moving to the new commercial real estate in Gainesville at Innovation Square will continue to grow with the arrival of a UF professor's large-scale data processing and security company.

Those living in houses or apartments near UF campus next year will want to think about buying a city parking decal! Decals allow area residents to park along the street in their respective zones, providing parking to those who have limited spots or want to use what they have for a significant other or friend.

5, July 2013Savion Park Luxury Apartments will be available for August 2014 move-in. The contemporary-styled luxury apartment complex will be near UF campus in the Innovation Square community. This large, upscale apartment complex will offer studios, 1 bedrooms, 2 bedrooms, 3 bedrooms and 4 bedroom luxury apartments. Each unit will have a gourmet kitchen, granite countertops, oversized bedrooms and elevated ceilings. Most of the apartments will have private bathrooms. Additional upgrades will vary from unit to unit, with some apartments including oversized balconies with park views, extra large living rooms, walk-in closets and other unique features.
Savion Park will be priced slightly lower than other luxury apartments near UF, allowing a unique entry point for UF students who want to live walking distance to their UF classes but can’t afford the apartments located immediately adjacent to UF Sorority Row. Young professionals working in the Innovation District will also find this as a prime location to walk to work in Innovation Square. The architect will be the same that was used for Archstone Luxury Apartments development, which won the Gainesville City Beautification Award in 2012.
