AOF Earns Distinguished Academy Status!


Western High School's Academy of Finance has been designated as a National Academy Foundation (NAF) Distinguished Academy. Western AOF is one of three academies nationwide to receive this honor this school year. This status is based on the annual nationwide assessment through NAF. Our school's AOF was recognized at NAF's Annual Professional Development Conference in Orlando. Thank you to all our students, faculty, alumni, and business partners who have helped our Academy of Finance earn this distinction!

Welcome Back, Wildcats! The Fall 2013 semester will be one that you will never forget. DECA and the Academy of Finance have been busy planning some amazing events and programs for you. This year, DECA's national theme is "Make It Count" and that is exactly what we encourage each of you to do in our organizations. Now is the time to get involved with our programs. There are community service projects, scholarship opportunities, and even leadership conferences. Do not hesitate!
