Year Career Plan
After graduating in the Spring of 2006, I will begin teaching high school science in Orlando, Florida for about one year. In addition to applying to medical school, during that year, I plan to continue writing my manuscripts from the data collected in my HIV/AIDS research. I hope to have my manuscripts published in a reputable journal. It is my plan to return to the University of Florida or venture to The University of South Florida, to start my career in medicine. I hope to matriculate into medical school in the Fall of 2007. I plan to pursue a Degree in Medicine as well as a PhD in Community and Family Health. Driven by my need to make a difference, I plan to serve my community as a leader and as a role model for those who will follow me. Furthermore, I plan on working part time at the local AIDS clinic in an effort to serve my community as a health educator.
