Students will be evaluated on the following three criteria:

Demonstration of relevant information: Most information has been found. Some connections have been made. All information has been found and is correct. Application of found information to other areas in the ceramics field have been made. Opinions and conclusions show an in-depth understanding of the ceramics field. Connections have been made in the relationship of the art world to the real world.
Organization and clarity of information: Grammer and spelling are correct, but ideas aren't cohesive. Grammer and spelling are correct. Transitions and ideas are fluid. Ideas are clear and concise. Expressive ideas are written effectively. Grammar and spelling have been checked. Word choices are purposeful.
Evidence of in-depth understanding of complex concepts: The writting shows understanding of important concepts, but is fragmented on other relevant information. The analysis makes sense and a good understanding is demonstrated. Thoughts and concepts follow a logical progression. Opinions have been fully explained. There is a synthesis of research in the writting. Reflection is shown.
