You should always dream! But sometimes, it's hard to dream and live a life of reality. Well, you know what my solution is? Make your dreams a reality!
- I just want to be Dr. Dang! Can I do it? Yes, I can! People already call me Dr. Dang, so I'm one step closer! I just can't get wait to get to graduate school and get that degree so I can sign my name: "Dr. Dang"! Well, if I fail to succeed at that, I'm just going to have to name my kid "Doctor"! No doubt about it!
- Travel to
Asia! Here's why:
- I must find out more about the Dang Dynasty! There has to be information about my great, great grandfather that migrated to Vietnam. I hope that during my research, I find out that I'm royalty and I'm a princess! After knowing that, I can overthrow the Communist government, establish a monarchy and "get rid of" those who are in line for throne. Oh yes, today, I'm going to rule China, and tomorrow, the world....
- Traditional Asian art is awesome! Prints, sculptures, pottery, furniture, cinema, music... It's all so beautiful. While I'm there, I'm just going to collect everything I see! Maybe a few rocks or two also.
- Well, if I'm going to collect everything I see in Asia, I think I'm going to have to shop for it. Must buys include clothing, Keroppi, Wooya, pirated media and software! Hehe.
- How am I going to say hi to Keroppi if I don't go to a Sanrio theme park? It's like a dream to hang out with giant Sanrio characters all day long! Before I leave, I think I'll steal for myself a giant Keroppi head as a souvenir.
- Celebrities! I'll stalk hot Chinese actors and Korean singers! Of course, I'm not your typical stalker. So by the time they're about to figure it all out, they would've been fallen in love with me already! Hehe. Sneaky, eh?
- Time travel! I can go back in time of the good ole dynasty days, stick myself in there, and lead the Dangs to world domination! If there's no time machine, well, I think I'll just have to build it myself.
- Be happy! Yeah, that's general, but it feels kool when you're happy. It's this euphoric feeling.. it just feels happy! Get high on happy! I do it everyday, do you? Hehe.
- When I was in first grade, I wanted to be the smartest person in the world, but I realized that it's impossible, so I decided that I wanted to be the smartest person about me! Hey, you can too! Why set goals that are impossible if you can set easy ones? Hehe. J/K!
- Be the coolest mom to my kids. I'm pretty funky now, so how would I be like in 10 years?? I think I would make such a kute grandmother! Don't you think so? Hehe. Whoa.... what if they are little versions of me? That would be so cool!
- Style. I always wanted a great sense of style. Doesn't matter in what, I want great style in everything I do! Hehe.
- Be talented!
I didn't get a lot of chances to discover my talents during my childhood,
but I'm going to do that now!
- Be superlingual! I know English and Vietnamese already, but I can always improve my Viet. I'm already learning Spanish, but if I actually practiced it, I would've been fluent by now! Hehe. Also, I want to learn another Asian language, like Chinese, Korean or Japanese. That way, I would know two European and two Asian languages! Hehe.
- I'm going to sing my heart out! I know that I'm not a great singer, but I'll continue to sing and hopefully, I'll get better. I know my parents and bro aren't singers, but I'm not letting that from stopping me! Hehe. I'll forever sing karaoke! Hehe.
- To be an artist! I don't want to do that for a career, but it's still fun to draw! I know that I have the skill, but I don't have the creativity and imagination! What's the point if you can't create your own art? I'll just might as well be a court artist. Hehe.
- I want to learn a musical instrument. I never learned how to play the piano because I just cheated my way through. Hehe. What I really want to learn to play is the violin, the flute, or the zither. Zithers make pretty music. Hehe.
