Simple T-Bone Steak
This is a simple way to season most center cut steaks that are naturally tender, such as rib eye, sirloin and T-Bone. These steaks tend to be more expensive.
What you need:
- T-Bone Steak (approx. $7/lbs.)
- Black pepper
- Paprika
- Onion powder
- Garlic powder
- Worcestershire sauce
Directions:
Remember to wash your hands before and after handling meat. Apply the worcestershire sauce first and lightly spread on both sides of the steak, don't be afraid to touch the meat. Apply the desired amount of the other seasonings onto the steak and rub them in for good coverage.

Preheat your non-stick skillet over medium heat and place the steak directly into the pan. Cook the steak to desired doneness: 145 degrees (medium rare), 160 degrees (medium). The steak should only need to cook a few minutes on each side, it is important not to overcook the steak because it will become dry. Add salt to the steak, if desired, after the steak is done cooking. Putting salt on steak before it is cooked will draw out moisture during cooking. When cooked properly steak should be tender and juicy.
Pair the steak with your favorite brightly colored vegetables and whole grains. Enjoy!
