Hurricane misses
Well once again the sleepy old town avoids disaster as hurricane Charley shocked the all-mighty meteorologists (voodoo chicken guessers) and struck land south of Bradenton.
The worse we got here was some light rain and I slept through it. I do feel fortunate though and am sorry for pushing our bad fortune upon others as this was supposed to be our year to get a hurricane.
I can't imagine how bad the damage is but I hear it is expected to total upwards of $15 billion.
