Best savings account available...

Ok well probably a month ago or so, I received some mail from Bank of America saying that if I started a savings account with them that I would get a free $50 gift card.

So I went to Wachovia to close my savings that I had with them and learned that I was earning a whopping 0.10% interest with them.

I was excited to learn that at Bank of America I would (in addition to the $50) be earning 0.25% interest.

This got me wondering though and I hit the internet to find the bank with the highest interest rate on an FDIC insured savings account.

And I have found it... if you would like to get a referral email with information to answer all your questions plus $25 free for signing up then give me your email address and I can get one sent to you.

There is no minimum balance, no fees, and they pay 2.10% interest (more than eight times better than Bank of America, and more than 20 times better than Wachovia).

One of the best things about it is that they make it very easy to put money in and take money out. You link your account directly with your checking account and make money transfers online through their website (this means no deposit slips or ATM visits to transfer money).

They also give you 7 free withdrawals per month (Bank of America only gave me 3).

Anybody who is looking to start an account (can start it with as little as $1), or who is tired of getting $0.25 interest in a year with their current bank should seriously consider signing up.

This picture tells it all:
