2013 Strictly Stock Rules
This is a Trophy Division. Cars will run either Clockwise or on the Kidney Bean.
Car:
1. Car must be American made 1970 or newer and have a V-6 or V-8 cylinder stock motor.
2. Car must be rear wheel drive with independent rear suspension with 0 degree camber.
3. No chopping, torching or cutting unless otherwise stated in the rules.
Roll Cage:
Although a roll cage is not required for this division, a 4 point roll cage is strongly recommended for driver safety.
Fuel Cell:
1. Stock gas tank must remain in stock position.
2. Trunk may not be gutted to accommodate gas tank.
3. Gas tank must be secured with 4 steel straps (2 front to back and 2 side to side).
Engine:
1. Engine must be completely stock for the year, make and model of the car.
2. No high performance parts of any kind.
3. No boring, polishing, balancing or painting of any engine part.
4. Engine must remain in stock mounted position with stock mounts.
Transmission:
1. Must remain stock OEM transmission for year, make and model of car.
Rear end:
1. Must be OEM for year, make and model of car
2. Cannot be welded or locked. No Posi-traction.
Brakes:
1. All 4 brakes must work at all times.
2. Stock pedal and master cylinder.
Exhaust:
1. Must have stock exhaust for year, make and model of car with mufflers.
Wheels and Tires:
1. All four tires must be the same size.
2. Tires must be DOT (70, 75, 78, 80 series) passenger car tires. No truck or trailer tires.
3. All rims must be steel OEM rims.
4. No aluminum rims permitted
Battery:
1. One 12 volt OEM system only.
2. Battery must be securely mounted in original position.
3. Battery disconnect must be mounted within reach of driver and safety crew.
Miscellaneous:
1. Remove all air bags.
2. All glass must be removed except the windshield (1/4" Lexan is permitted)
3. Doors must be either welded or chained shut.
4. All door panels and flammable materials must be removed.
5. Hoods must remain stock with hinges. 2 hood pins are required.
6. Trunk lids must have 2 hood pins with stock hinges.
7. Car numbers must be a minimum of 10? on both sides of the car and on the roof facing the outside of the track.
Safety:
1. These safety rules are specific for this division.
2. Mandatory DOT approved helmet with face shield or goggles.
3. Approved window net on driver’s side window.
4. Fire suit and shoes are recommended but not required for this division only.
5. No tank tops, shorts or sandals etc.
6. A fully charged working fire extinguisher must be mounted within reach of the driver.
