What is Universal Design?
On February 5, 2003, internationally known expert on Universal Design Elaine Ostroff met with students at the College of Design, Construction and Planning. The event was hosted by the Florida Community Design Center. The previous evening Ms. Ostroff lectured at the Harn Museum of Art on the intersection of good design and universal design. Wednesday's hour long seminar was publicized within the college and attended by approximately 20 students.
