Matheson Park Museum
Working with the Matheson Museum staff, landscape architecture students under the direction of Professor Tina Gurucharri developed designs for the Matheson Museum Park. The Matheson Museum, located on University Avenue in downtown Gainesville, is developing a seven-acre park south of the Museum along Sweetwater Branch. A historical interpretation exhibit and native landscape known as "Little Bartram Trail" is currently being implemented along the creek. The intention is that the Matheson Museum Park integrate this trail into its design and draw its inspiration from the cultural and ecological history of the region.
