Campus Visions: UF Master Plan and Selected Projects
On March 21, 2002 the FCDC's first new exhibit in the Center's new location opened at 300 East University Avenue in the Commerce Building. Speakers included UF Associate Vice President Fred Cantrell, Strategic Planner Linda Dixon and Community Outreach Officer Florida Bridgewater-Alford. The exhibit featured the recently approved UF Master Plan and models and drawings of other projects including the Cultural Arts Complex Master Plan; the Bookstore and Welcome Center addition to the Reitz Union; Rinker Hall; and the Football Stadium Expansion. A large model and series of videos documenting a recent campus-wide charrette devoted to the courtyards within the UF Historic District were included in the exhibit.
