East Gainesville Master Plan
During the fall 2001 Landscape Architecture Professor Tina Gurucharri led a preliminary
master planning effort in East Gainesville on behalf of the FCDC. Landscape
architecture students met with a variety of City and County officials
and community experts, and presented their findings to the community on
December 4, 2001. Their work was used as a point of departure for the
MTPO's Plan East Gainesville project, beginning in January 2002.
Our goal :
To create a new identity for East Gainesville -- A conservation-friendly community close to the heart of downtown.
