Rivers

This website focuses on three main rivers in north central Florida: the Santa Fe River, the Ichetucknee River, and the Suwannee River. I chose to feature these rivers because of their proximity to Gainesville, Fla, where I am a student. I also chose them because of their beauty.

Traveling on these rivers gives you an upclose experience with Florida's natural environment. While kayaking, you'll likely see various wildlife including birds, turtles, and maybe even alligators.

I have traveled on the Santa Fe River and the Ichetucknee River. I found their beauty and wildness mesmerizing. All three rivers are natural, scenic wonders.
