The Romantic City
Venice was my favorite trip away from Rome. Jane, Christina, Taylor, Katheryn and I took a train to Venice for a 3 day weekend and had an amazing time. Venice is a very quaint city on the water with a lot to see.
We made sure to see all the important sites in Venice such as St. Peters Swaure which contains not only an amazing church, but millions of pigions. We made sure to take a gondola ride, which was deffinately a highlight of the weekend. Venice is known for its glass, so we took a water taxi to the island Murano where we watched glass being made. Of course, we shopped in Venice too.
