ENC 1102
Writing about literature
This
course emphasizes critical
discussion, interpretation,
and writing
about complex texts.
How and Why - more so than What - are the essential questions that 1102 asks about the literature. Rather than addressing the question of what a text is about, 1102 concentrates on how a work has been crafted and considers why its author made particular choices about constructing it.
