Consult with teams of teachers/educators for problem solving, ensuring responsiveness to equity and cultural diversity issues, as well as learning style.

Collaborate with school and community teams to focus on rewards, incentives and support for student achievement.

Collaborate with school staff members in developing staff training on team responses to students' academic, social, emotional and developmental needs.

Be an active member of the Clarke County Counselors Collaborative, a partnership between program faculty and local school counselors who meet monthly on topics of mutual interest.

Participate in the Best Practices Conference, an annual conference for local counselors, graduate students, and alumni that provides professional development opportunities and the  opportunity for sharing successes from the field.

Contribute to the Counselor Academy, an annual week-long professional development opportunity for partnership counselors, graduate students, and school counseling program faculty on topics related to the new role for school counselors.

Collaborative Project:  School Transitions

Participate in the Community Caucus, an annual gathering of counselors, graduate students, program faculty, other school system and university personnel, and community leaders to consider issues facing children and adolescents in our county

Continue my involvement in the ACT Early Research Team working with Clarke County school's teachers and students, to enhance academic and behavioral competencies of at-risk children.  

Mentor of  a  1st year student entering the School Counseling Program.

Member of the Counseling Student ListServ, which connects counseling students from across the country and allows us to communicate on the issues we face.  

Remain active in professional organization such as ASCA, GSCA & ACA and attend professional conferences and seminars.
