Use of Technology for monitoring student progress and student career planning; acquiring and accessing data needed to inform decision making of individual students and the whole school.



Assess and interpret students needs, recognize difference in culture, languages, values and backgrounds.

Establish and assess measurable goals for student outcomes from counseling programs, activities, interventions, experiences.

Assess building barriers that impede learning, inclusion and/or academic success for students.

Interpret student data for use in whole school planning for change.

Use data from surveys, interviews, focus groups, and needs assessments to effect student outcomes.

Provide data snapshots of student outcomes, show implications of achievement gaps.

Apply the skills I learned in the Individual Appraisal class to aggregate and disaggregate data to illustrate school needs & achievement gaps. 


Use the data available to me in the schools I work in to help establish goals for students, especially poor and minority youth

School Profile

Continue to work with the ACT EARLY research data as a scientific basis for assessing and conceptualizing child behavior problems and competencies in the school setting so as to assess measurable goals for student outcomes from counseling programs, activities, interventions, experiences.

Stay familiarized with the standardized tests given in my school, help analyze data received from these test to assess and interpret student needs, remain cognizant of the limitations and biases inherent in testing.
