GO GATORS! This past weekend, Tennessee definitely volunteered to become Gator Bait! The
59-20 blowout really made me feel good about the season. I was worried about Tim Tebow’s passing ability and the defenses inexperience but now I see no reason why we can’t win ANOTHER National Championship.
My friends and I all had a great time at the game. My friends only complaints were about the parking, or lack there of. It’s common knowledge that if you want to park on campus for a football game, you have to show up first thing in the morning or walk for miles. The whole situation made me feel very happy that I decided to live in the Courtyards, owned by Trimark Properties. The Courtyards is right across the street from Tigert Hall! So after cooking out at my apartment we simply walked across the street and made our way to Ben Hill Griffin Stadium for the game.
Game days aren’t the only day when parking is slim around campus. Everyday finding a parking spot is a battle. All of the good parking is either taken or reserved. If you do find a parking spot, there’s a good chance you weren’t actually allowed to park there and you’ll come back to a big fat parking ticket.
Living close to campus is the best. Not only do I not have to worry about parking, but I am walking distance to classes, great restaurants and all of the night clubs! I wouldn’t have it any other way.
