Arroz con Gandules: Rice with Pigeon Peas
What you will Need:
- two cups long grain white rice
- four tablespoons extra virgin olive oil, plus one tablespoon for cooking ham
- cilantro (as desired)
- one handful manzanilla olives (green or spanish olives)
- one 8-oz. can of tomato sauce
- one packet Sazon
- four teaspoons recaito (frozen)
- one can pigeon peas
- one half pound cubed ham
- one chicken buillon cube
- two cups water
