The front cover of the album The Black Parade reveals the first clue to the bands hidden message of immortality. The band’s name is scrawled across the top in bold, black, scratchy font. The words are the initial focal point, and they attract the viewer’s attention. All else depicted on the cover is a smaller sized text. The dominating text displays the thought process that the band name is far superior to all else on display. Beneath the text, a miniscule marching figure tries to keep the viewers attention, but the large text above maintains the focus, making the rest of the text subliminal. The band already overshadows the marching figure, which represents The Black Parade within, or death.
