This Stamp features the Baha'i Gardens
in Haifa, Israel. The Baha'i Gardens surround the Shrine of
the Bab. The Bab, meaning "Gate" in Arabic, was the
Predecessor of Baha'u'llah, Founder of the Baha'i Faith. Because
the Baha'i Faith is a religion of peace I decided to portray
the symbolic dove holding an olive branch. |
