Key West
Located at the southernmost point in Florida,
Key West offers a great place to explore on a Jet Ski. Since it is an island
you can take a trip around the island by yourself or on a guided tour. Key West
offers an amazing scenery and crystal clear waters, this is a must if you enjoy
riding around. Even if you do not have a Jet Ski there are rentals
available.
Go to Ski
Key West for informaiton on guided tours. (My family and I did this twice
when we were down there!)
Siesta Key/Lido Key
This used to be my personal stomping ground
before I moved further south. Siesta Key is home to the World’s Whitest
Sand, and it definitely holds true. The water is more calm since it is located
on the Gulf Coast so expect a majority of the ride to be somewhat smooth. It can get rough
at times but for the most part it’s calm to moderate chop. There are many
little islands to go around and explore where bigger boats cannot access, and
you can even ride your Ski up to the beach and dock it if you want to take a
break. Also, expect to see some dolphins as I have seen many up close while out
on the waters. No Ski parking at the Public Beach, but you can park it right
outside the swim area and still access everything that the Public Beach has to
offer. Definitely a great area to ride around in.
