About me...

I was born in Torino, a beautiful city located in Piedmont in the north west part of Italy. I lived in Torino until the age of twentyfour, where I graduated from Politecnico di Torino in Nuclear Engineering, and then I moved to the USA to continue my education. I lived for about one year in State College, PA, were I enrolled in the doctoral degree program in Nuclear Engineering at Penn State University. I then moved to the University of Florida, in Gainesville, FL, where I earned a Ph.D. in Nuclear Engineering Sciences, and a Master of Science in Management.

Currently, I live in Pittsburgh, USA, with my wife Rossana. I am employed as a Fellow/Advisory Engineer by Westinghouse Electric, where I have led several high profile technical projects ranging from radiation transport methods to acoustics and computational fluid dynamics.
Earlier in my life...

In my early age, I played basketball for 8 years; I began playing when I was 12 years in the formerly known San Benedetto Torino (later became Auxilium Torino), the premier team in the city. Auxilium Torino hired several players from the US National Basketball Association (NBA) such as Darryl Dawkins (Philadelphia 76ers) and Michael Cooper (Los Angeles Lakers). In the next years I played for Toolbest Galvagno Torino and then for IPSA Collegno. In the season 1994/1995 I played in the professional league in "Serie B-2" with IPSA Collegno.
