At-home Activities:

1. Go outside in your backyard or a nearby forest and search for butterflies. Bring a field guide and camera with you to identify and photograph the butterflies you find.

2. As a family, create a butterfly garden. Research the type of butterflies native to your area and their host plants. Go to a local nursery to buy the plants and plant in the yard. During the year watch for caterpillars and butterflies.
