About Me

My name is Iris Nicole Caudill. Iris is a family name passed down on my mother's side, so I go by Nicole. I was born July 15, 1987 in Jacksonville, Florida, where I have lived most of my life.

At a young age I joined the Jacksonville Children's Chorus under the direction of Jim Taylor (later direction by Twila Miller and Jeffrey Clayton). In this organization, I have performed in various halls, such as the Moran Theator and Jocoby Hall in the Florida Times Union Center for the Performing Arts, Epcot's Choir Festival, Carnegie Hall, and various other performance venues. I have performed alongside the Jacksonville Symphony Orchestra for the Holiday Pops Series, The Nutcracker Ballet, Puccini's Tosca, Bizet's Carmen, and Mahler's Third Symphony.

I attended high school at Providence High School in Jacksonville, Florida. There, in addition to being volleyball and basketball team captain, I sang in the Concert Choir directed by Cheryl Vaughan . Under her leadership we performed at Biltmore's Candlelit Nights, Epcot's Candlelight Processional, and the White House.

Currently, I attend the University of Florida in Gainesville as a Pre-med Vocal Performance major with an outside field of Mass Communications.

I am part of the studio of Professor Ronald Burrichter in the School of Music in the College of Fine Arts. I have been a member of the University of Florida Women's Chorale from Fall 2005- Fall 2006 and a member of the Gainesville Civic Chorus from Summer 2006- Spring 2007.
