What you'll need
For what I want to teach you to do, you are only going to need a few things.
First, you are going to need a guitar. For the blues, either acoustic or electric is acceptable. I currently play an acoustic but have owned a number of electric guitars.
Next, you need to make sure that your guitar is tuned. Standard tuning is acceptable for what you're going to learn. If you have the sound turned on on your computer, you can use the tool below to tune your guitar to a standard tuning.
To finish things off, you can use a pick if you prefer and if you are playing an electric guitar you're going to want an ampilifier and the proper amp cables.
Really, this is all you're going to need, since I can safely assume you have internet access.
