My full name is Charlotte Sarah Manes. I am a pretty open person, but there are some things some people just don't know about me.

For example, I am Jewish. My last name is pronounced MAN-ess, not like the plural form of a lion's mane. My birthday is October 6, which makes me a Libra. In true Libra fashion, I am a big believer in treating people fairly and I am very indecisive. However, if you hang around me long enough, you'll find that when I finally do pick what I'm going to eat, it will be delicious.

I love dancing, especially swing, tap, and jazz. I also love to sing. Mosquitoes love me, but I hate them. I also hate the hiccups, since mine never fail to be loud and/or painful. I am a former spelling bee champion, so poor spelling - especially on the part of professionals - bothers me, too.

I am a first-year student at the University of Florida and I am very excited to be majoring in the high-paying, stress-free field of Music Education. I play the oboe under the tutelage of Dr. Leslie Odom Miller.
