Interest
Health
education is important because it gives me the opportunity to educate
the growing society about the different ways to achieve optimal
health. Health educators are becoming more
and more important to today's community because of the many risks
people face such as obesity, heart disease, cardiovascular
disease. Through the different health education courses I
have taken, I increased my knowledge
of the different ways of enforcing the methods of teaching about these
various diseases. Because everyone has their own
personal
responsibility for health, as a health educator I am to implement that
responsibility.
Three-Year
Career Plan
Upon graduation at the University
of Florida with a degree in Health Education, I plan on entering into
the accelerated nursing program and obtaining an Bachelor of Science in
Nursing. After I receive my Bachelors, I intend on working
towards my Master's Degree to become a Nurse Anesthetist. The
field of nursing is very valuable to everyone because of the rise of
diseases. As a graduate from health education, I will be able to
not only treat my patients but be able to educate them about risk
factors and ways to prevent as well.
