Ballad of the Interlocutors As a contemporary ritual, the keg stand represents a communal exchange. The keg is fuel to the party; it is a gift for many and never meant for solitary consumption. The Yellow Collar Boys offer the spirits but in exchange for a literal contract, which is completed by them and a participant in triplicate and stamped a validation of the Yellow Collar Boys' seal. Ballad of the Interlocutors was a performance in conjunction with Blessed Unions, a show for artist duos at the SGC International Printmakers Conference in 2011. The 14 original contracts signed now exist as relics of the festival.
