Our hickeys exist as evidence of our exchange of formalized intimacy. Not only have we branded each other in a contemporary playful/romantic ritual, but we have shared the kisses in different worlds. The Yellow Collar Boys have formalized the ingestion of each other's skin just as we have integrated individual voices into an art practice. But our kisses are met with bruises. Our bodies have enacted defense mechanisms to guard against the invasion of the other and to refuse to acknowledge visibly what is shared between bodies.

Stories of Jouissance was originally a live performance. It now exists in the form of photographic and video documentation.
