The Karen Horney Papers at Yale
Manuscripts and Archives
The Karen Horney Papers can be found in the Manuscripts and Archives division of the Yale University Library. Below is a paragraph from Diane Kaplan, Archivist, with useful information about how to gain access to the papers.
I have posted a listing of the first set of contributions to the Papers that originally appeared in the IKHS Bulletin of October, 1993, and my own inventory of the second set of contributions. I have also posted the portions of the finding aid that are currently available and that have been provided by the Yale University Library.
Anyone wishing to contribute additional materials to the Papers should contact Diane Kaplan, Yale University Library, P. O. Box 208240, New Haven, Ct. 06520-8240 (telephone: 203-432-1069; e-mail: diane.kaplan@yale.edu). BJP
Accessing the Karen Horney Papers
From Diane Kaplan: For those planning a research visit the departmental web site at: www.library.yale.edu/mssa is an excellent source of information. They may contact us with questions at mssa.assist@yale.edu or by calling (203) 432-1744.
Readers intending to visit Manuscripts and Archives should give us at least forty-eight hours notice since the Horney Papers are stored off-site. When calling ahead, it would be helpful to refer to accessions by number and to give us the number of the box in which they can be found (see finding aid)
