My name is Ana Devine, and I am a third-year journalism student at the University of Florida.

I absolutely love everything about UF, and it's great to be a Florida Gator!
If I could use one word to describe myself it would be "love." I spend most of my free time at church or doing church activities with
Gators for Christ. Through this group, I have known what it is to love and be loved through Christ.
I love spending time with my friends and serving others. It's great when I can do both at once!
With Gators for Christ, I've done mission
work in New Orleans and Miami, and I've worked with a lot of local groups as well. I'm not even close to deserving of the love that Christ
has for me, but I want to show His love to everyone around me and do everything to glorify Him.
Some other essentials to my life are music, football, volleyball and laughter.
Not only am I a musician myself, but I also like all kinds of music--mostly alternative, country, Christian and rock, but anything that isn't death metal/screaming. Live music is the best, and I love going to concerts! My all-time favorite band is a
Christian ska band called Five Iron Frenzy. They're no longer together, but I got to see them live at least four times, which was awesome.
I like going to shows in small venues. One of my favorite venues is Jack Rabbits in Jacksonville, Fla. Some of my current favorite artists
include All Time Low, Cartel, The Starting Line, Ben Kweller, and etc.
Football is also a big part of my life. I love the Jacksonville Jaguars for NFL and of course the Florida Gators for college. I spend a great majority of my fall weekends watching football! And whenever I get the chance, I love to play volleyball. I played setter in high school, so that's the position I normally play now as well.
Laughter is so important to me because I think everything is funny! I like to smile, and I laugh at everything! My friends in the piccolo section in marching band usually make me laugh like no one else can.
Although I don't get a whole lot of time to watch TV, my favorite shows are LOST, So You Think You Can Dance, Greek, Friends, Scrubs, Project Runway and Kyle XY. I do not watch Grey's Anatomy!
My favorite books are The Holy Bible, "To Kill a Mockingbird," "Alas, Babylon," "The Poisonwood Bible" and anything by Ernest Hemingway. Check out my bio for more!
