AWARDS and DISTINCTIONS

These are some awards and distinctions I feel proud.

At the University of Florida, during my M.S. and Ph.D. studies, I have all years been recognized as outstanding international student with a GPA of 4.0/4.0. My courses and grades can be seen on this transcript.

I have had the honor to serve as Vice-President of the Student Council of my College of Natural Resources and Environment at the University of Florida during the period 2002-2003.

In 2002, I was recognized in Managua by the Fundación para el Desarrollo Teconlógico Agropecuario y Forestal de Nicaragua because of significant contributions to the agricultural research in Nicaragua.

The professional fraternities Alpha Zeta and Gamma Sigma Delta conferred honor to me bytheir membership. I am member of the American Society of Agricultural Engineers since April 2005.

In year 1997, the Kellogg Foundation awarded me an integral fellowship. This Kellogg fellowship allowed me to conduct my M.S. studies at the University of Florida.

Two years after receiving me B.S. I did a post-graduate course in Spain and France, in which I was recognized as outstanding student.

During my pre-graduate studies in La Molina Agrarian University, I received some distinctions for achievements on my studies. In the third year, I occupied the first place of my level inside my department and also the first place of all University. I graduated with honors occupying the second place. My grades and courses can be seen in this transcript. I also obtained outstanding qualification on my thesis defense.
