Cornell was helpful in some ways as well. Before starting Part Two of the project I went ahead and created dossiers of images
for the different topics I planned on addressing. This gave me flexibility as I was constructing the webpages because I had
many different images to choose from and I could select ones which evoked the mood I was aiming for.
I also adapted his idea of creating a stream of consciousness through a collage. This was especially useful in the section
where I was communicating the problems associated with the use of fossil fuels. I was able to create a stream of consciousness
from the drastic results of global warming on the polar regions, to the deaths of U.S. soldiers in Iraq, and finally to the
environmental impacts of an oil spill in the ocean.
Berger gave me ideas on how to better understand the themes I was trying to communicate. Cornell gave me the tools to actually
do it.
