Teaching Philosophy

It has always been my belief that the people with the most impact on a child's life are not only the parents, but the influential teachers in the their lives. It is the task of the teacher not only to motivate and guide, but to give his/her students a desire to learn and search for self improvement. The teacher provides the tools for sculpting and allows the students to mold their lives into a positive and successful roadway. Not everyone was born to teach, and a teacher is not merely someone who carries the label; there must be a passion, an inner drive to want to witness the growth and development of the students into outstanding persons with knowledge not only of the field that particular teacher is teaching, but also a drive for the attainment of greatness in everything they do. As teachers, we have the ability to build leaders or influence degenerates. By representing a positive role model, who is not only influential in the school, but an inspiration to the students, a bond is created that will never break and can usher the students into the leadership roles they were born to take over.
