Background:
I am a 22-year-old who recently graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in photojournalism. Though I was born in Charlotte, NC, I've spent most of my life in Florida, growing up in Jacksonville. I am currently the fall intern at the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. Prior to that I was the summer intern at The Gainesville Sun, where I continued to work as a freelancer once the internship ended, and I have also worked as a stringer for The Independent Florida Alligator. Having graduated, I am looking to gain a broader view of the newspaper world by working more internships at a daily newspapers, taking lots of photos, and delving into the world of multimedia in new communities.
