As soon as you’re running down sorority row to your new home on bid day, your sorority pride will overtake you. Suddenly, everything you wear will have your letters on it, and your dorm room or apartment will slowly start to fill up with memorabilia adorned with your sorority symbols and scripted with your sorority’s motto.
After I joined a sorority, it took a matter of hours before a Pinterest board was created with dozens of pins with dorm decorations filled my feed. My sorority row apartment was just a short walk from the house where I would spend most of my time gathering new ideas from sisters’ rooms in-house to embellish my decorations with my sorority’s colors and symphony.
