Abstract

The video suggests that toddlers sleeping in a playpen sleep better if they do not have a lot of items inside of the playpen while they are resting. Children tend to be uncomfortable or find it hard to sleep when they are surrounded by too many distracting things in the playpen. The best plan to avoid distractions are to make sure that before placing a toddler inside of the playpen to take all toys out of the playpen and do not place any extra padding or pillows inside the playpen. When there are toys inside of the playpen while toddlers are resting they stop resting and start playing. Children are often intrigued by toys and are not like adults and cannot control themselves and stop they keep playing which takes away from their resting time. Instead of them trying to control their behavior parents can control the behavior by taking all distracting items out of the playpen and let the kids get more rest and sleep safe.

Critical Comments

Life. The life of this clip will be determined by where parents actually let their children sleep or rest because not all parents put their children in a playpen, some put them in a crib or place them their beds.

Quality. The quality of the clip was not all that good it had a lot of pauses in between that make you feel like what is going on. The viewer can become easily bored.

Content. The video was very well focused and to the point. I knew what they were discussing the duration of the video.

Interest. The video was kind of boring but because it was brief and to the point it was not terrible.

Depth. The video clip went into as much detail as needed to cover a topic centralized for the benefit of parents and toddlers.

Organization. This filmed could have been filmed better but it was very well organized.
