| The supporters for human cloning claim that they want to use it for further research to produce human organs specific to the person. Cloning research could benefit many people that are in need of organs that are not readily available and always in short supply. For example, if you need a liver transplant, there will be one readily available that matches everything about you. Also, if a couple is trying to reproduce and they are unable to, then the fertilization process has to be used. Parents do not want to use artificial insemination because then the father will not have the connection with the father as he would have if they "cloned" the baby. Having that strong connection between parents and their children is important to society and it should be able to continue with no boundaries. |
