STATEMENT:

The world of the imagination is an intriguing place. In it, the mind can play with favorite protagonists and place them in a multitude of situations and environments. Anything is possible. Sometimes, it is a scary dark region, where fears dwell, other times delightful events enchant with desireable outcomes.

My work captures dynamic elements of this world, specifically through the investigation of form, color, texture, and imagery. Recognizable pottery forms remind the viewer of daily life and domestic settings while the imagery is unfamiliar and perplexing.
