Being a relatively new field, Information Arcitecture is constantly changing. In order to collect resources for this site, I tried to focus my attention on the most up-to-date items available. Often, those items were found in websites.
Literature on IA is scarce, but the few available texts are generally both comprehensive regarding specific topics (e.g. Steve Krug's Don't Make Me Think which covers usability) and definitive in nature (e.g. Rosenfeld & Morville's Information Architecture for the World Wide Web which defines the field and its myriad concepts).
To aid in further IA research, I have compiled a wiki containing numerous resources and a glossary of common terms as applied to IA.
