Know Jesus? | |

Man was meant to explore. We are inquisitive by nature.
We are here to learn. We are here to study. We are here
to live. However, life is guaranteed to be
meaningless.
This may be shocking. But is soberingly true. God put us
here so that we may find him. We are to find that he
loves us unconditionally and he plans to provide us with
something more and greater than what is about us. What
we have around us is nothing compared with what we face
in heaven. For in heaven alone shall we be with God, the
trinity. This gift is not free, it came at the price of
God's son. John 3:16 of the Bible best describes what
precious gift God offered with his son Jesus. To mock
this gift is unconcienable, however it is anyone's right
to do so. We are not here to judge, we are not here to
govern. We are here to find God. If we don't, it is our
loss as well as His. God loves us, so much that he gave
us the choice to decide if we will follow Him or not.
Many Christians are overzealous in their attempts to
convert non-believers to believe in Jesus. They almost
attack those that they are trying to show the way. An
attempt to show love is done out of anger, this is
understandable as it is upsetting when people refuse to
believe, however it is their choice. We are here to guide,
teach, and fellowship with one another in Jesus Christ, not
to bully others to be submissive to our Lord. We are to
offer them the path to Him, if they take it, that is their
choice, beyond our control. We must realize that God loves
all of us so much that he won't force us to follow him, but
rather lets us find Him. In this way, we add meaning to our
meaningless lives. God is there for all of us, nagging at
our hearts, letting us know deep down He's there, it's up to
us to decide if we let Him in our not.
Hopefully, this will touch someone's heart as Jesus has touched mine. For further information email me at: pagerc@ufl.edu |
