Niketan Pansare (Hindi: निकॆतन पानसरॆ) (born June 27, 1984 in Mumbai, India) is currently pursuing his Masters degree in Computer Engineering from University of Florida.

He secured first rank in Thakur Junior College and graduated from Veermata Jijabai Technological Institute (V.J.T.I.) in Information Technology. He completed his postgraduate diploma in Embedded System from Electronic Corporation of India Limited (E.C.I.L.) while he was in second year of engineering. (Completing PG Diploma before Graduation sounds strange !!!). His final year project "Sure Serve" was awarded "Best Student Project" by Tata Consultancy Services.

Niketan worked in MAQSoftware (from August,2006 to April,2007) during which he developed data warehouse for Microsoft (Hotmail and Live Search).

He is an open source supporter. He publishes almost all his softwares and even his mindmaps / audio notes on his website.

Even though his mother tongue is Scheme, he writes most of his code in C#/Java (Application Programs), C (Embedded Systems' Programs) and Perl (System Monitoring Programs / Scripts).
