Our pictures from Iceland were stolen in the robbery, but
here are some pictures I found online of things that we went and saw.
Blue Lagoon
is an amazing spa with water fed by geothermally heated water far below the
earth's surface. We went swimming here even though it was freezing outside!
Also, along the water there are caves with saunas and steam rooms that you
can go into. I think Blue Lagoon was the best part of the trip. We also
drove around a lot (the entire country is black rock covered with green
moss) and went to see
Geyser, the original geyser that all others are named after;
GullFoss waterfalls; and a
huge amazing crater filled with beautiful green water, Kerith.
